Gradum was founded by two university students with a passion for education and technology.
Ansh Hiranandani
Co-Founder
Ansh is a mechanical engineering student at Purdue University John Martinson Honors College. After experiencing frustrating limitations with current learning management systems firsthand and hearing similar complaints from teachers, he was inspired to create a more integrated solution. He works on product design, software development, and building partnerships with schools.
Sam Rao
Co-Founder
Sam is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University in a BS/MD program. His own challenges with fragmented learning tools and conversations with school administrators revealed the need for a better system. He focuses on software architecture, AI integration, and creating intuitive user experiences that solve real problems for educators.
Our Mission
We believe that education technology should empower teachers, not complicate their work. Inspired by our own frustrations and the challenges faced by educators we've spoken with, Gradum is built to streamline administrative tasks, provide actionable insights, and create more time for what matters most: teaching and learning.
